Hotel Hornbækhus

Mycket fint hotell som vi besökte för andra gången. Fick ett rum som var kallt men fick då byta till ett annat utan problem. Mycket trevlig personal.

Great place

The noise level/acoustic in the dining room is awful. It is supposed to be a community dinner but it is impossible to talk to anyone because of the noise. And so warm and terrible air. It is too cramped with people

Really nice place close to the coast. The hotel is so charming and really nice designed with respect for history.

The design of the hotel is beautiful, with the hotel itself, the rooms, and the common areas all styled with great style and skill. It was a true pleasure to stay in such a tasteful environment. The breakfast is carefully curated, with a lovely touch being the little list you can fill out to indicate what you'd like to eat, helping to reduce food waste. Very well done. One of the evenings, we also dined there, with a menu where everyone sat together at long tables, making it easy to strike up conversations with others. The overall experience was truly delightful!

I had reserved the dinner through the chat on Booking.com, but for some reason, it didn’t come through correctly, and we weren’t on the list. Fortunately, we were still able to join, but the tone in which this was communicated didn’t come across as apologetic. Instead, it gave the impression that it was our fault. Still, we were glad it worked out in the end, and this was just a small hiccup in an otherwise wonderful experience.

Such a charming and intimate place! With quirky, personal touches sprinkled throughout. We felt very much at home at Hornbækhus, and enjoyed exploring each of the nooks and crannies it had to offer. We partook in the community dinner, which was fun and delicious, and breakfast was nice as well (keep in mind, it's not a buffet - you order from a menu). Our room felt very cozy, however the real charm was coming out of the room and reading a book or enjoying a cocktail in the "living room" and going on long walks along the beach close by.

I wished there were blinds or curtains in the bathroom (the windows are textured, so it's difficult to look through, but I was still a bit nervous at night when it was dark but the bathroom was lit - you can make out shapes and silhouettes from outside).

Hyggelige omgivelser og lækker placering. Der er for nogle af medarbejderne behov for et kursus i værtsskab og service. I den grad. Andre er super søde og servicemindede.
