Free parking, very nice view from the balcony!

Location is near to the cemetery, which should have been mentioned.

最上階でしたが海の景色最高でした。静かな場所で裏に美味しいお肉屋さんと近くにコンビニがあり最低限の立地です。

眺望がとても良く、設備の新しく、なんといってもお値段がリーズナブルでした。

The check in can be done only between 3 and 6.30 pm, it’s really too short for international arrivals. If my flight had been a bit late I would have lost the room for that night. I suggest a method to check in automatically even without the staff at the place. They were kind enough to wait for us for 15 minutes, but after 7 pm I would have been without a room. The view is very beautiful and the apartment is big and clean. However, it’s a 30 minutes walk from the city center, so mind that. In the area there are pretty good restaurants, though.

Very spacious room! That was the first rental place in Japan that had a good amount of space in one apartment for 4 people. We had 4 suitcases and there was enough space to open them all at once! We stayed at the 9th floor and there was ocean view - great to have breakfast looking at the ocean. Overall we liked the apartment. Bathroom was very comfortable, also spacious and had everything necessary for comfortable stay. Probably my favorite spot in the whole apartment!=) The apartment was pretty clean, there are plenty of spots to buy food nearby - both stores and restaurants. It has washing machine, so if you bring detergent, you can do you washing. Kitchen had a pan and basic tableware.

Mattress we slept on (the one in the separate room) was not comfortable at all (too hard? or just the quality problem) as well as the pillows. We stayed 2 nights, and both nights both of us could not sleep well and had back pain in the morning. No place/ rack for hanging washed clothes. After using the washing machine, we struggled to dry clothes. We hung a few things on a small pole on the balcony, but since there were no clothespins, everything was flying away. We could only hang a few things that could be tied. In addition, the pole was very dusty and there was nothing to wipe it with... we had to use toilet paper. We used the tumble dryer for items that could be tumble dried, but there were items that could not. It would be really nice to have a clothes drying rack that could be used inside or outside (depending on the weather) with clothespins. For such a nice apartment it would be expected to have ceramic dishes, but to our surprise they were plastic. It is possible to use plastic, of course, but it gave not nice impression.

Lovely spacious apartment with balcony and beautiful view of the sea. Reasonable location, walking distance to a sweet beach cafe and also a Family Matt. 5 minute drive from Ishigaki centre. I stopped in Ishigaki for the Half Marathon so chose this apartment for its location to the Sports centre. Very quiet area also. A few constructive comments : the lighting was very bright and harsh, it would have been good to have some softer lighting. Also, no balcony table, knives or plates (knives and plates are perhaps a western thing?) Ishigaki is a beautiful island with a chilled vibe and some amazing quiet beaches. Only 2 1/2 hours from Tokyo it is well worth a visit to get away from the tourists on that mainland. It is definitely worth hiring a car to get around which is easy. And since the Japanese drive on the correct side of the road.... 😉
