"My fault but I picked the wrong area to see and so not too much to do around the area."

Breaksfast was ok, could of had more choices, like yogut '

the TV didn't work right, you could not tell what channel it was on and what was coming up next, no guide titles... Plus I am sure the batteries needed to be replaced in the remote. The gal at the desk had to come up both nights to get it to work (she brought her own remote) so we were pretty stuck on the same channel all night.

The property appeared new and clean.

The beds were uncomfortable. There was only a sheet and a gauze bedspread. Too light weight. When I called in the middle of the night for a blanket they brought me a king size bedspread— we had only queen size beds. The breakfast bar was poorly stocked and maintained. Each morning they were out of staples- plates, silverware. Guests were mounding plates with food and many there was minimal food left to choose from with no one replacing it. We were also told our credit card had not gone through with booking.com and were charged a second time.

I normally consider Home2Suites a good option and have stayed at the Saginaw location before. This stay was not positive. At 3:03 am, the fire alarm went off for maybe 5 seconds, long enough to wake me and not get back to sleep. The box of soap in the bathroom was dirty on the outside- reused? There was broken glass outside by the firepit and still there the next day, not cleaned up. Finally, we needed to use the extra couch bed- the extra set of pillow and blanket had no sheet. So, multiple things wrapped up into a not-so-good experience.

Good location in Saginaw. Really close to Bay city which is a cute town to visit. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

The breakfast was extensive and very good. My husband chatted up the chef and you could hear the pride in his voice talking about his food menu. Emily? I think, was very helpful and answered my questions with ease.
