Hotel Starjet

I have travelled quite a few times in my life, but this is the first time actually that I am writing a review, as I hate to do them. But to be fair this hotel deserves it. It is a fair deal what they offer, what you see on the pictures it is there, the place efficiently renovated. But the thing that stands out greatly is the staff. Both the owner and the kitchen staff were extremely kind, from pre-arrival till we left and went great distances to make us feel great.

Dinners would be fine on place, but many restaurants are 5 min away, so no problem as well

On check out day housekeeping stood chatting very loadly outside the door 1.5 hours before check out and then let themselves in without knocking 1hr15min before check out. Not a great last impression..

Hotel is ideally positioned right next to the piste so easy to get to the Starjet 1 lift in a few seconds each morning. Breakfast was one of the better ones I have had, rooms were comfortable with powerful showers and Ferdinand was extremely helpful in suggesting (and booking) restaurants for us each evening. Just a few minutes walk to plenty of bars and restaurants, and 50m to the ski hire place. I would definitely stay here again when returning to Flachau.

From the moment we checked in we were made welcome at this well situated hotel. The room was clean, good sized, hot water, warm and great view. The breakfast offered a superb choice from porridge, eggs, cold meats, cheese and fruit. There was a choice of many types of bread and rolls and a choice of fruit juices and hot drinks. The ski and boot room was a good size and always found space. We didn't try the food in the evening but it was nice that it was available if you wanted. There was a mixed variety of guests and as a mature couple we felt relaxed, but it would suit many groups. The staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi was available and a good choice of tv channels. Would stay here again.

We traveled to Flachau as family with four years old son. We spent four nights in the hotel and I was very satisfied. The hotel is modern designed in Austrian style inside and outside. No problem with parking places around the hotel. His location is only a few steps from the slope and the ski lift. That is amazing. No need to drive a car or take the skibus to go to the lifts. The room itself is not big, but it's enough tofit in. It includes a bathroom with shower. A flat TV rounds the image. You can reach the balkony from the floor. Sleeping quality was very goody. The breakfast is rich and fresh in typical Austrian style: cold meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, cakes, eggs, yogurt and cereals. Coffee and many sorts of tea of course. Everything You need for a good start to a day. In the evening You can spend some time in the restaurant (breakfast room), because the offer a bistro menu, which includes some pizza, soups etc. Drinks of course. You can watch TV here on a large TV screen. The stuff is friendly and helpfull. Nothing is a problem. We was very satisfied. We decided, that next time we will go to skiing to Flachau again and want to be accommodated in hotel Starjet. We recomend this hotel to all.
