No water in the shower or lock on the bathrooms door, common area isn’t great and we were told we could not talk at 9pm so not good to meet people
HKThere was coffee and tea offered to guests at all times. The kitchen is well equipped and the fridge is sufficiently cold. The staff allowed guests to hand wash a few items and there was a good place set up for hanging clothes. It's really good value, considering Barichara's popularity as a tourist destination.
The shared bathroom and dining tables weren't exactly clean. Eg dehydrated cooked rice grains laid on the dining table for the period I was there. The hostel was on a road with a lot of traffic though there were fewer cars during the night.

SKReally nice hostel . The atmosphere was super friendly, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the common areas were perfect for meeting fellow travelers.
PHUSStayed in the Trip Hostel in San Gil, and like that one, was very happy with my stay. Small hostel compared to the one in San Gil. Some services like breakfast are the same, but this one lacks a pool and bar. The kitchen, however, is open to guests unlike in San Gil. The room was much bigger and offered storage space for my clothes etc. Very clean. Wifi was fast and generally reliable. It would drop for a few seconds on occasion, but very likely a problem with the service provider being in a small and rather remote town, rather than the hostel. Run by a very nice and helpful family on behalf of the owner.
Cold shower water! If my so-so Spanish understood correctly, this is a temporary issue by them having to use a water tank rather than the town's water line due to the drought.

AUCute little family run hostel, everyone was so helpful and friendly and they made a great breakfast too! They also have Tv with nextflix and other tv apps too!
