"Traditional gasthaus with big rooms and excellent food"

Our large room included a separate sitting area and had abundant windows. Dinner in the traditional German restaurant (not included with the room) was popular and excellent - I highly recommend the homemade bratwurst! Breakfast was fine - not as special as dinner but more than adequate, including oat milk and espresso on request. The location was convenient for our visit in Markt Berolzheim nearby.

No complaints!

This small hotel in a quiet village surrounded by farming country has been nicely refurbished, and is comfortable and cheerful. Dinner outside in the garden area was very enjoyable — good beer and Schnitzel, friendly service in a pleasant setting — and I appreciated having private use of the upstairs sauna. I was travelling by bicycle and was glad to have use of a good bike storage shed just to the side of the hotel building.

I asked for a quiet room and was given one at the back of the building, but unfortunately this overlooks an active street used by various types of vehicle. I feel the hotel did its best but the location makes it difficult to avoid some noise. There is no elevator, though staff offered help to carry up my bag.
