The Georgian Townhouse at Pierrepont Place

Layout and the kitchen in the basement was perfect.

The drainage on the showers was a challenge - trying to get 10 people showered took a long time as we had to pace it to avoid flooding.

Overall it was very cosy, each room had a character to it. The beds were comfortable, the ground floor lounge was comfortable. The TV with Apple TV was also really good. The kitchen had lots of utilities.

The kitchen was in the basement and was suffering from mould near the windows. It requires ventilation installed. It also had lots of slugs :( - which was pretty disgusting. It did spoil the overall experience and comfort in the kitchen. The floors creaked a lot and there was no sound insulation between the bathoom on the first floor and the room.

Lovely Georgian character, nicely restored & decorated in authentic style over 5 levels, 3 big bedrooms (including attic room with 4 single beds) + one small bunk room. Very high standard bathroom & shower room. Fantastic central location within a few minutes of all the key Bath attractions & station. Host responsive & kindly agreed to us checking in an hour earlier which was so helpful & appreciated.

Nothing, it was fabulous! That said, if you were to really push me to suggest areas of improvement- I’d say that the only things would be a) more comfortable mattress + mattress topper for the bottom bunk bed in the small bunk room, so that it’s suitable for adults too eg. so a group of 4 (eg. 2 mothers & 2 adult daughters) can each have their own room. I slept in the tiny one, the small size is not an issue, but it would be fab if the mattress could be a bit better (plus topper added) like the other beds. b) leaving just half a pint of milk in the fridge as a very welcome addition to the appreciated starter kit of useful facilities. But these are minor issues only - it was overall a lovely stay! Thank-you!

It was spacious, in a fabulous location and perfect for our blended family of six.

There was nothing to jot like.

The house is at a perfect location, minutes away from the center and at a rather silent street. Its beautifully decorated and you can find everything you need for a perfect stay.

We had some minor problems with the heating of one room and hot water but the host quickly responded and solved the issue.
