The man working there is amazing, very friendly and helpful always. 10/10 One thing that left a sour taste was the luggage storage. Checkout at 12:00, came back to pick it up at 15:30. A woman let me in, unexpectedly demanding 100 MXN for me picking up the bag that was just standing there in the hallway. Didnt have cash, after asking 3 times she let me pay by card. Very strange policy that annoyed me somewhat on an otherwise pleasant stay.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, I arrived late and they happily helped me get situated and showed me around. The room was quite big and quaint and i enjoyed the access to the pool right outside the door. The location was fantastic too. Close to everything on a safe and quiet street.

It was not made clear before booking, that I would be sharing a bathroom with another room. In addition the shower was communal and seemed to be used by everyone who stayed there. The stay felt more like a hostel, than a hotel. It also smelled a little old. Like a grandparents home that was a little dusty or something. Could use some air fresheners or candles etc.

Hot water with good pressure. calm and quiet, perfect location. Nice big bed. They can keep your luggage until 3pm for no cost and at a cost after that. Keep in mind your have a short window in the P.M for check in

Security issue regarding broken latch of the door. So even after many minutes of struggling I could sometimes not lock the door of my room. My concern was shared to the staff that couldn't do much. Thankfully nothing happened to me or my belongings. Pool was dirty and useless , the whole garden needs lots of love.

Casa Isabella is a modest, comfortable, and peaceful stay in the center of Cozumel. A great location for exploring the area and a quiet retreat from the streets. It is family-run and a good value for the price.

The room was lovely. Staff stayed late to let me in as I couldn’t get there until 8.30pm. The bed was very comfortable

I paid the deposit and didn’t receive any confirmation that it had been received despite messaging. I messaged to check a late check in was ok but didn’t hear anything until 7pm that day so was a bit worried. The room has a 3/4 wall in one area between you and the next room and so I could hear everything! I woke up at 5am when it sounded like someone was urinating in my bathroom, it was actually next door. Take ear plugs!

Location.

Very disappointing. Bed was painful (messed up my back). Their card reader didn't work so they insisted on cash. We had pesos and dollars but for dollars they insisted we pay an unfavorable exchange rate, overcharging us for the room. Room was tiny and a very bad deal compared to our other accomodation in Cozumel. Thought we'd get some value by hanging out by the pool. It was very small, sad, and dirty. Also, don't come here unless you have a good command of Spanish. The reception made 0 effort to be understood across languages (you can do things like point and write down numbers) so we had to rely on my not-great Spanish. We were woken up constantly by noise from the other rooms. I'd rank this as more of a hostel than a hotel.
