Casa Isabella

The property is well located in the city centre. Very spacious room and bathroom. The room has a small patio for personal use. The owner is very friendly. Internal parking for motos and bikes.

The property needs some modernisation. Some sockets do not works, missing curtains and the drain of the shower is quite slow.

Very safe and quiet. Excellent location. Great staff.

Wifi was not working at all for us, poor signal.

There was no breakfast and that was a disappointment, but I found an excellent coffee shop just a few minutes from the hotel. I liked the cosy touches everywhere. Well appointed, with care given to presentation...matching towels, small area rugs beside the bed, charming furniture. Bottled water available in the kitchen. Tea bags were also available. Nice area, and easy to find the ferry terminal, and the town center.

The receptionist promised me a better bike and I could do my laundry but in the end it was not possible. I prefer you tell me upfront and not disappoint me later.

Location and Wi-Fi

The room shared the same bathroom ceiling (half wall open) so we could hear the other couple in the toilet and speaking… no privacy at all. There were no curtains and the glass ceiling make the room being too bright (more than outside).

I recently stayed at Casa Isabela in Cozumel, Mexico. Initially, the experience was positive - the host was friendly and responsive, and the staff were welcoming. Water is almost non-existent here. You almost feel like you have to pay for a bottle of water. Furthermore, our perception changed drastically when we discovered that we weren't the only occupants of our room; an army of bugs had invaded. Despite keeping everything closed, including refraining from eating on the premises, these pests were pervasive, even on our beds. The issue seemed to stem from cracks along the walls. You can find better options.
