"Beautiful location with excellent facilities."

Was very clean, facilities inside were good. Fridge, kettle and microwave. Outside has a nice picnic bench and fire pit.

Long walk to get water for kettle, no tea or coffee sachets. If you provide a kettle at least give us the first brew when we get there.

Loved the pod. Cosy and warm and had a fridge microwave and kettle. Great facilities and welcome friendly staff. 😀 We are back for Easter again. It is one of the best sites we have stayed in.

Just a suggestion to put a dustpan and brush in the room. Would have liked to brush up some crumbs.

Great location, clean, quiet, dog friendly, reasonable price, good facilities, lovely walks, nice pub, amazing staff

Toilets could have been cleaned after morning when peopled showered as dirty from footprints because of bad weather. Did provide mops but one of the mops was missing so didn’t help

"Peace in the Trough of Bowland"

Peaceful position on the site, and the site location was excellent. Comfortable bed, fridge, microwave and kettle. Relatively new/clean loos/ showers (see below). Lovely walks round the various lakes and well positioned for trips out to the coast or Trough of Bowland. Just enjoyable all round. Fire pit was a bonus. Appeared to be good social life round the restaurant/bar at weekends but we were out so could not comment. Out of season so facilities reduced. Very good eateries within a mile or two.

Only 2 loos/showers out of 5(?) open as we were told leaks being fixed. Inevitably this meant heavier usage so not as clean as could be.

Beautiful location, friendly staff and excellent food

The new shower block was all shut off except one and the bed in the pod wasn't great you could feel every slat through the mattress
