Sara Hotel Bishkek

Das Hotel wirkt wie ein Juwel in seiner Umgebung, die nicht die allerfeinste ist. Aber: Zu Fuß ist man in 3 Minuten an den Bussen in die Innenstadt und in 5 Minuten am riesigen Osch-Markt. Große, moderne Zimmer. Sehr sauber und ein wirklich tolles Frühstück. Um das Hotel herum sind viele kleine Läden und auch Imbiss-Restaurants, letztere von einer Art, die man sehr mögen muss, um hinein zu gehen.

Auf Google Maps sah die Gegend ganz nett aus. Die Wirklichkeit unterschied sich dann doch etwas davon. Aber wir haben uns zu keiner Zeit unsicher gefühlt.

When I go to a hotel, I am usually with another person, and no hotel has ever asked me to pay extra for that person. In this hotel, I told them that a visitor would come to me, and they said it was no problem. But when the visitor arrived, they called me and said I had to pay an additional $15. They said it was a “hotel law.” This is nonsense and not a law at all. They just saw that I am Arab and wanted to take extra money from me. This is not good at all. Tourists should be treated well so that they will want to return to your country again.
