This place is not as advertised in the pictures. It is small rooms and it is not an apartment. There is a shared kitchen. Some rooms do not even have bathrooms. The “sofa” that is promised in the room is also not there. The owner and her barking dog live overhead. We did not stay here it would have been very uncomfortable. The owner did refund our payment but that was after she yelled at my husband.

The location was excellent not far from the castle, the room cozy and quiet, but most of all what stood out for me was the warmth of the hostess, and how she extended herself to make sure you were comfortable and sharing her knowledge of Kars.

The ground floor is like a 3 bedroom apartment with one en suite bedroom and one communal bathroom. It is in a quiet street in the centre of Kars. Sometimes, an extra apartment in the garden is available.

Deniz is superfriendly and helps you with everything. She is like a friend. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The house is in a small and quiet street and guarded by a very friendly dog. There is parking in the small street. The rooms are on the ground floor where there is also a kitchen and a communal bathroom. The third bedroom has an en suite bathroom. Deniz has her own entrance. The house is close to restaurants and shops and some nice coffee places. Tea and coffee are also available in the kitchen..

Everything was fine

Deniz is lovely and did everything to make our stay comfortable, and to help us with onward travel plans. She even got me a birthday cake. The room was very clean and with a comfortable bed. The location is very good for central Kars. We enjoyed meeting other guest in the shared kitchen. I would definitely book this again.

Nothing important (could do with another bedside table, and a bedside socket).

Es war sehr familiär und wir haben viele Tips bekommen und einen Einblick in das Leben der Menschen vor Ort. Die Gastgeberin war auch jeder Zeit ansprechbar und für einen Chat auf einen Tee zu haben.

Extremely helpful & friendly owner who speaks good English. We arrived in a small laneway in what looks like a derelict area. Deniz , the owner, met us at the door. The rooms are spotless and comfy, not fancy, but everything u need. There is a share kitchen ( we had to ourselves as no-one else there), washing machine ( extra charge). Perfect for 1 night stay in Kars. We went to Hanimeli restaurant close by which Deniz recommended . We had the local goose speciality which was delicious. Deniz gave us some good recommendations for onward travel resulting in us changing plans which was absolutely perfect.

Outside area looks very derelict and shabby, no fault of owner. Lot of street dogs but seemed harmless

Deniz is a one of the best hosts you could ever have. The property is immaculate, and perfectly located, but what is the best about it is how much she genuinely cares about her guests. Lovely conversations and a wonderful spirit. Truly an exceptional place to stay.
