I always love this hotel when I go to Las Terrenas. stay there everytime I go

I can't say enough about my stay at this magnificent hotel. Hotel has everything you ask for, great restaurant, rooms are very clean, and excellent attention and staff. I highly recommend it!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the Samán hotel in Las Terrenas. It is a beautiful place. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the pool and hotel areas well maintained and customer service is unmatched. The staff was exceptional in all areas of the hotel. Betania, the manager was very welcoming and fantastic. The decor is all natural throughout the hotel using the actual Samán wood. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay there. If you are in Las Terrenas, this is a great hotel to stay. We can't wait to go back.

Excellent service on a beautiful setting

This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Las Terrenas. Not only is the hotel super clean, the staff was amazing! We will definitely return!

Extremely friendly people. Nice cute hotel. But things you should know. The beach is NOT walkable…ESPECIALLY if you have children!!! The distance is FAR z& the area you need walk through not family friendly. Recommend for couples with a vehicle only.

I liked the property overall and there’s so much potential on things that can be done at the property. However, the staff didn’t provide customer service and they were restricting us into doing anything, we couldn’t stay in the pool past 8pm even though we weren’t making any noise we were just having a conversation, we couldn’t bring our own drink by the pool (they have what it looks like a bar by the pool but there’s nothing there, and no one to service it) there’s really not much to do around the area where the resort is so they should provide more entertainment for the guests, you can’t eat food you bring from outside even though they are not an all inclusive resort and their kitchen closes at 10pm. They don’t allow guests in the pool are even if you try to pay them for guests to be around the pool are (not to swim) overall there’s way too many restrictions in this place that makes your stay like you are in a prison and not in a hotel where you go to relax and have a good time. I would suggest they make use of the bar they have by the pool and maybe keep the kitchen open with a grill for people eat and have a nice drink by the pool, they should also have maybe a band one night so guests can have candlelight dinner while listening to good music. Overall, there’s plenty of room for improvement and revenue making and they are not taking advantage of.

Cozy boutique hotel with excellent food quality in their restaurant. Not many amenities but the staff service was great and the beds and pillows are super comfortable.
