The spacious layout of the apartment, the view and the really well equipped kitchen all contributed to make this a fantastic stay. Really quiet residential area. Owner contacted us well in advance of our stay with check in details and quickly gave us an excellent recommendation for a wine tour that collects from the villa when I enquired about wineries. Highly recommend.

Instructions for the TV would have been helpful. Maybe they were there but we didn't notice anything.

The property was very well appointed with access to multiple rooms such as a billiards room and a lovely garden area.

We spent two nights at Wilkes Way Villa, and wish that we had spent a little longer! The location is great as you are only about a 10-minute drive from many restaurants, the harbor, and the Interislander Ferry (which we would also recommendation). Communication with the owners was good from the time that we booked it until we checked out. We were given specific instructions about check-in and check-out and had no problems. The accommodations were awesome! There are two suites (on opposite sides of a large entrance), so very private. We stayed in the Tui suite, which had two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with two single beds), a bathroom with a very nice shower, a well-stocked kitchen with a dining area and a table that could seat six people, and a large living room area. You can see the harbor from the rental, which was an added bonus. There is also a large theatre room which you are able to use. We did not use it, but there was a pool table, a large-screen TV, a kitchen and comfortable furniture. There was also a washer and dryer available for guests use, but the dryer was broken while we were there, but they were waiting for a part to arrive so they could get it fixed. They did have a large drying rack in the theatre room, as well as a smaller one in our rental which we could use. We were able to do two loads of laundry before we left for sightseeing in the morning, hang it outside in the sunshine to dry and it was all dried when we came back later that afternoon. If you are looking at renting a place in Picton, you should definitely check out Wilkes Way Villa!
