Staff were lovely. When asked, boss Tracey happily moved us from the ground floor family room to a room in the main building. That room was slightly more expensive, but Tracey didn't charge us the difference. Shelly was charming and helpful at breakfast and the waiting staff likewise at our meal. Food was good.

No wardrobe in the room, just a low hanging stand, and only one bedside table. My wife told me that the sanitary towel bin was full. The corridor and stair carpet definitely needed a good clean. Parking spaces were difficult to find when we arrived on the Sunday afternoon but, as the car park is shared with the adjacent Rising Sun hotel, this is I guess what might be expected.

It was the traffic noise. Secondary glazing fitted but no pains of glass ! it went on all night.
