Athina City Hotel

We had the pleasure to enjoy the stay in one of the two-bedroom apartment suites! One of the biggest rooms I have ever stayed, with two large stunning flat TVs (and a sofa in one of the rooms making the atmosphere cosy and ideal to enjoy movies, since there is also satellite TV), plenty of beds and one very large balcony! I suggest one of the most comfortable apartments one good get! Really big bathroom (with bathtub), plenty of beds that can accommodate even a big family and nice kitchen/dining area. Warm people welcomed us and provided us parking in front of the hotel! The hotel is situated in the center of the city, straight from the 'faros' and next to the commercial area! I will definitely return to Athina City hotel!! Special regards and many many thanks to Nikos!!

The hotel is centrally located, a short walk from the railway station, but in a quiet residential neighborhood. The main market street with all the shops, cafes, bars etc. is only a couple of minutes away on foot. The building is dated (so are most buildings in the city) but well maintained. The rooms are spacious and well kept, but the decoration and furniture are old-fashioned. The air-conditioning, fridge, Wi-Fi, toilet and shower were all functioning properly. There is a certain amount of internal noise (toilet flushing, doors, etc.) which did not bother us at all but could annoy someone who has difficulties in sleeping. We missed breakfast both days so I can not comment on that. Finally, the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall an excellent value for money choice. I would definitely recommend it to others and would be more than happy to stay there again.
