Everything. I did not know what to expect before arrival, I needed a place close to the airport and it was my first time here. It exceeded my expectations, the owners were super attentive and nice, I booked this place twice in a month. It's quiet, it has a nice garden, the breakfast is super tasty (the second time the lady owner even woke up way too early so I can get my breakfast before my flight even though I insisted that I can take a sandwich and it would be fine, but she wanted me to have a proper meal). Felt super safe, they kept in touch all the way before my arrival, also arranged the transportation to the airport. The rooms are very clean, bathroom as well, they offer toiletries, free water. I liked it a lot and I will choose this place again when I will return.

"Our stay ws short but we were well taken care of!"

The dueña was so friendly and attentive! She helped us with arranging our transport to and from the airport and made sure to tell us everything we’d need to know for our trip to the Galapagos. The property was quiet and well-maintained and we loved our stay there!

"Nice place, Great Staff"

The operators (and I assume owners) of Hostal Macaw are super friendly and very nice. Their kindness takes this lodging to the next level. They also speak good English which helped. The rooms were nice. A/C worked great. Wifi worked adequately. And the free breakfast is a nice perk. My flight left at 04:30am and they even made a sandwich and gave it to me along with a banana fort the plane ride.
