Bonprix Hotel

There was nobody at the hotel when we arrived (24-hour reception), when we rang the bell the guy told us to go to another hotel 3 km away otherwise we can stay in the same hotel with no possibility to have breakfast, or we can go have breakfast in the other hotel. There was also nobody there to check us out, so we just left.

Wir waren in der ersten Nacht die einzigen Gäste im Haus. Der Check-in verlief problemlos telefonisch. Das Zimmer war sauber, ruhig und komfortabel. Auf dem hoteleigenen Parkplatz gab es ausreichend Stellplätze. Alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mit dem Auto ist man in 15 Minuten im Phantasialand. Leider fiel das Frühstück am ersten Morgen aus. Das Buffet (am zweiten Morgen) war dafür außerordentlich reichhaltig und lecker.

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Bonprix with 50 students and received excellent service and good from start to finish. The team couldn’t have been more accommodating and ensured that students’ first experience of German hospitality was top notch. We’ll definitely be back (again!)

Stayed here 1 night to visit phantasialand and the stay went without any downsize, parking on the entrance, friendly welcome, basic good and clean rooms, good shower and complete breakfast. This is a basic hotel but with a good standard !

Spend a night at this hotel and I had a small but comfortable rooms. Very clean and the location was very close to where I wanted to be. Sort of difficult to find but the staff was very helpful in arranging for our late arrival.

Rooms were clean and better than we expected from this "hidden" small hotel in Bruhl, really friendly staff, good services and decent breakfast; and of course, bonprix ! Be aware that there are 3 train stations in Bruhl... one not far from the hotel and there is a great gym with swimming pool within 100m

Nice cleen cozy hotel. Wery large room, nice bathroom. Located in industry area but only 10 km from Bruhl. We liked the breakfeast, lots of choices, very good tea offers, lots of fruits etc. Personal was very friendly. We only didnt like the price - 120 € per night in 3* hotel seams a bit much but we dint we came very late and all hotels was booked.

I booked this place, thinking it would be a suitable distance after taking a not-too-early Calais ferry. It was, and we may well use it again if we take the same route. Room was very clean, room cool even though it was hot outside. Birds singing in the trees outside. Breakfast good. It's in an odd location, though, being in the middle of a small industrial estate. While this doesn't take anything away from the hotel itself, it's slightly unexpected (oh, if only Germany had Streetview!). Also, if you want something to eat in the evening that's not Subway or McDonalds, you'll have to go further afield.
