Staying in a local neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle - close enough if you want to have tavernas shopping, cafés, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. Stavros and Maria are stupendous hosts - the best I have come across in 40 years of travelling and living in other countries. Loved the local supermarkets, cafés and bakeries, walking to the local parks and listening to the outdoor local performances nearby. A short walk to the harbour and the lovely market.

Logement très propre et fonctionnel ! Idéal pour visiter la ville tout en étant en dehors le centre d’Heraklion est a peu près à 30 min de marche ! Logement pour 1 couple ou deux voir 3 personnes max ! Place de stationnement autour il faut juste chercher un peu .

Excellent spot within walking distance to town but not noisy :) The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond with suggestions on places to eat, things to do etc…

stavros e maria sono stati troppo gentili la stanza a era nuova e bella, per arrivare in centro ci volevano 15 minuti di passeggiata. consigliato

The apartment had everything I needed. It was within easy walking distance of downtown. The neighborhood was very quiet, and there were several excellent eating options close by. The owners, Maria and Stavros, were very friendly and checked in with me regularly to make sure everything was going well. I would definitely stay here again!
