The staff who assisted me in checking-in was really really nice. She explained everything in details with smile on the face always. It's meaningful for a alone traveler. My appreciation to you~ thank you~~ And the entire hostel is very clean with good river view.

But if you are look for very convenient location, it may not be your choice. It's not close to either Tenji or Hakata, somewhere in between. And I had poor experience that night -- the guy who was on next bed snored like a dinosaur whole night...... people in the same room could not sleep well at all. There were 2 guys going down to 1/F living area and slept on the sofa instead.

The other guests were quiet at night and generally respectful, including the staff. Things were clean. There is a locker available that fits a normal sized backpack.

Friendly helpful staff. Good location within walking distance to transport sights and amenities.

Poor sound insulation - the cubicles are constructed from plywood sheets and 4x4s, which make a terrible noise anytime someone bumps against them, which is often, and do nothing to muffle the sounds of other guests. There's loud traffic noise from the nearby bridge but I was even grateful for this as it helped drown out those noises. The common area is small and cramped and often there is no place to sit, to say nothing of the "kitchen" that can barely fit more than one person. Also, there was one guest with horrendous foot odor that stank up the place but other than spraying deodorant spray nothing was done to address this.
