Ideal location for us visiting family nearby. The room was big. More of a family room as it had a double bed and two singles. The staff were very friendly. Fraser showed us around and made sure we knew where how to get in and out after hours. We had drinks in the bar and staff were all lovely. Relaxing place to be and had a friendly vibe.

The music from downstairs when we came in at night was a bit loud but much quieter when we were upstairs and all the doors were shut. We knew that this was a pub so expected music. It didn’t stop us from getting to sleep.

"Food and staff were lovely! Bathroom wasn’t pleasant"

The bedroom was massive! The lady that checked us in was lovely! Took us up to our room and told us all the information we needed to know! The food was lovely as-well, we got picky bits up to our bedroom before heading out! The bar had a great atmosphere!

Unfortunately the bathroom wasn’t very clean, I was going for a shower and I lifted up the rubber mat that was in the shower and it was black with mould, I ran over to the Lidl across the road and had to buy bleach, and cleaning things! It came up with one wipe! This looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while!
