Your Space Apartments - Cambridge Place

We had a one-bedroom flat on the 2nd floor. Steep staircase, no lift. The area is quiet; Tescos and the Co-op are at the end of the road. The flat is well supplied with utensils, etc for cooking. Operating the TV is easy, although I don't think the property has a TV licence. The main problem we had with this flat was the plumbing. The kitchen sink has an InSinkErator to breakdown food residue and wash it into the drain. There was nothing to alert people to this. When I started the washing machine there was a horrible smell of drains and water full of food partices (mostly chips) welled up into the sink. There is a switch beneath the sink that needs to be depressed so the insinkerator starts up. It looked as if no-one had used it so the drain was partially blocked. The shower did not work well. The maintenance man came round early the next morning and fixed the problems including using a powerful suction machine to empty the drain. There is no parking permitted on Cambridge Place, but there are plenty of parking spaces so if you come by car you can park very close to unload and load up. There is free overnight parking on Glisson Road which is nearby. The flat is a short walk from the railway station and the city centre, so is well situated. The bin men drive up Cambridge Place early in the morning so if you like sleeping late they are likely to wake you up.

The wate flow from the shower was low. The promised king size bed was not present.

Świetnie wyposażone, przestronne i wygodne mieszkanie w cichej uliczce, blisko stacji, ale też niedaleko centrum. Blisko sklepy i restauracje. Kawa, herbata, mleko i ciasteczka na powitanie - miły akcent. Bardzo dobry kontakt z wynajmującym.

Ogólnie było bardzo czysto, być może jedynie podłogi mogłyby być lepiej odkurzone.

Very convenient location. Very complete facilities and helpful staff.

Great location. Very close to train station, restaurants and grocery store. Best facilities that I've seen from this type of property. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, even various spice bottles.

Just that it was not possible to check in before 4pm or check out after 10am, not even to store luggages and theres no locker facilities nearby that I'm aware of so plan ahead accordingly.

The location is great and every member of staff I talked to or met was very helpful.

The apartment was clean and as advertised. Great place for a stay while working at Cambridge. Food co-op at the end of the road, gym near by, short walk to train station, pubs, central Cambridge. Excellent place. It's on a dark narrow, dead-end street, so might not be great for some.

Spacious, at a nice part of the city, very well equipped and with a lovely welcoming pack. The proximity to the neighbouring super markets, has helped as a lot, as well as the staff responsiveness to all of our inquiries.

Having the welcome pack of food was very useful, it saved me running around to sort out some meals. On quiet side street , but close to convenience and food shops. Location great for railway ; bit longer to get main shops and tourist attractions. The property smelt clean, very clean and had fresh air . Excellent TV set up. KItchen was very practical. Quiet at night.

Water pressure in the shower could have been better.
