The Grand Marigold

The house has everything one needs to enjoy a home away from home. The pool was nice for the kids too cool off on the hot days and the indoor fireplace works great for the raining days. The town is beautiful and Saturday Market was a nice touch to meet the locals. We visited the Whiskey bar which hubby loved and also had a nice breakfast in town. Not much shops around but it's a quick drive to Robertson. Also visited Mc Gregor wines where tasting was free and stocked up on some good wines which was well priced

Only thing to note when booking the red room is the interleading bedroom is not enclosed but open plan, which is open to the communal areas such as kitchen and lounge. So for privacy and sound not 100% ideal.

I had the white key room. It was more than I expected. The bathroom was huge, with 2 basins and plenty of room to spare. The bedroom was perfect with mosquito netting that came in handy. The setting was very romantic.

I think the cushions for the chairs around the pool could be more substantial. I don't know how many glasses were in the dish washer, but I found that there could be a few more.
