Casa Buena Vista Hillside Sunset Villa W Pool

Location location location. This house has the best view on the block. The layout with the two master suites on either end of the ranch style floor plan is incredible. The outdoor area is One of my favorites... But it's not as nice as it used to be....

Unfortunately when the property was sold the new owners went in and tore out a bunch of plants that attracted hummingbirds. One of the most amazing things I've ever witnessed were the number of hummingbirds that would come to the backyard it was unbelievable. A couple years ago when the new owners bought the place and they tore them out I was so disappointed and this year there were one maybe two birds that showed up sporadically but they absolutely ruined one of the most beautiful parts of the property. Also there used to be a nice table right outside of the door that seated six comfortably it was a lot more comfortable to sit outside and enjoy the back porch versus the furniture that they replaced it with. The lounge chairs were a nice touch but overall the changes that were made to the outdoor living space we're not improvements. The biggest issue that we had was the washer and dryer. The washer made a noise that sounded like a jet engine that was going to explode like I mean it was so loud that you couldn't hear yourself speaking to the person sitting across from you in the kitchen. One of the frustrating parts about that is weaver told that the owner was there the week before we arrived so the owner is completely aware that there's an issue with the washer and dryer but we didn't hear any resolution to the situation which I know that in Costa Rica things aren't sitting on the shelf like they are here in the States but... They do have appliances available it was ridiculous. There's two refrigerators and there was nothing locked up and nothing said about the refrigerator on the right but when we opened it it smelled horrendous so obviously it shouldn't be used but staff wasn't even aware that it was broken which I thought was odd. That refrigerator was completely empty so it definitely gave the appearance that someone was aware that it was broken. Sadly this was my favorite rental in the world...
