Quiet. Dogs and new puppies. Scenery. Local to all surrounding villages

Advertised as a four star Hotel, but is a basic B&B. Very dusty until told the landlady. One night we were locked out until nearly midnight. Basic breakfast, nothing special. No ground floor rooms. Not disabled friendly.

The owner saying that we had not booked 2 rooms when we did and said we had to compensate not having a breakfast which we should have received. for the cost i felt totally cheated. cheek of it!

A nice room with pleasant outlook. Host very nice.

Whilst the room was nice, it could have done with a decent clean including the shower.

The room was brilliant with a very comfortable bed. The hosts Claire and Paul were really friendly and helpful, giving us some great ideas for sightseeing. And the cooked breakfast was very tasty and filling.

Cold showers

We had a very pleasant room overlooking the garden and the fields beyond, with breakfast served just at the bottom of our stairs in a nice dining room. Breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent. We also paid for dinner on the first night to celebrate a birthday which was exceptionally good, chosen from various Cordon Bleu dishes that Claire suggested and cooked for us, an all round memorable stay, even the weather was adequate !

Nothing of any importance

The breakfast was very good. The location perfect for the function we were attending at Alpheton Hall Barns. Clare and Paul were very welcoming hosts.
