Colonial Inn Guest Rooms

Lovely location quiet and peaceful. Easy to get to Yackandander and Beechworth. We had a restful and relaxed few days.

Everything was really great.

Nice outlook. Quiet. Kitchen. Size of rooms. Host.

A grip/handle bar in shower would be useful - hardly anyone has one and it makes showers difficult. Not forgetting the invasion of the midges - host said they don't bite, but wherever they landed on me it made me itch. Bed was very soft.

I would be very happy to return as the room is clean and bright, the view of a horse grazing in the morning is lovely and the amenities all I needed.

The one thing that needs to be rectified is the seal around the window's insect screen. No biting bugs but would have liked the swarm of midgies to be on the outside of the screen rather than all over the bedside lamp.

The hosts - Susan and Alan - are great to deal with. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay worked out for me.

Did not have breakfast, we slept in for a lovely relaxing break in quiet idyllic surrounds. The host was very good, pleasant and helpful even tidying our rooms despite the fact we did not leave till about midday.

Nothing it was perfect.

This place is located about 7 km out of Yackandandah in a very peaceful farm area.
