Ottima la disponibilità dell'host ci ha aiutati con lo shuttle per l'aeroporto ed è stato molto elastico con gli orari d'arrrivo. Letto confortevole.

Location: about 20 mins walk from the airport. It's an easy walk to do if you only have a backpack. There are no sidewalks, but it's safe; we followed some locals who were also walking into town from the airport. The accommodation itself was very clean and comfortable. Check-in (which we did via self check-in) was easy as well. Communication with the host, Christian, was always smooth. In addition, contrary to what some reviews suggest, the area felt totally safe for us. It's on the outskirts of Catania, so yes, it doesn't feel like you're in the city, but other than that, we felt that it's just another neighborhood where people live with their families, walk their dogs, get food, etc. like anywhere else. I traveled with my (male) partner but would've felt completely safe as a solo female too. And there is food nearby: we had the most delicious (and cheap) pizzas at the family pizzeria 'Da Graziella' right next door. If you walk 25-30 more mins, you can also get groceries at Lidl and find many more restaurants (although that's not the easiest walk). We highly recommend Christian's place, thank you!
