The Benson House was a beautiful alternative to choose instead of a hotel. Our room was very clean and pretty. We were within walking distance of the shops, the square, and food. Loved it!

This was probably one of the best BNBs iv stayed in! Super clean and super cute! Everything in contactless and hassle free. I had a last min guest stay with me and the management was able to point me to an extra bed last minute! I have already recommended this stay to others in my friend/family list! Love it!!

It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable.
This is the second time we stay at The Benson and we love it! It’s so close to the main plaza. It’s very clean and the AC working amazing for being in the south Texas heat all day. We love it!
The family was really excited to stay at the Benson house because it sits in downtown area of Uvalde and near a couple of our favorite spots to eat with friends and family. Unfortunately, our stay was ruined due plumbing issues, clogged toilet and backed up drainage sewage in the shower. We reached out to property who advised issue was being looked into and plumber would stop by after fixing problem at another building next door. We waited and decided to leave due to smell and visible sewage visible on shower floor. We were advised the issue was fixed approx 45 minutes before checkout. The room is very nice and comfortable, just as pictured in reviews. Property needs to resolve plumbing and sewage issues before renting out rooms. Also, should consider accommodating use of other rooms if available, should the issue occur in the future. We decided not to post pics of the messy bathroom situation as most definitely, not family-friendly. Would recommend stay at hotel/motel/Inn over Benson house.
