Excellent room, good location. The walls are a little thin and you will here the traffic. Overall we would definitely stay there again.
Our room had a comfortable bed and, although it faced a busy street, it was quiet in our room. The shared common area is well stocked with coffee, tea, milk, and cereal for the morning. Try the ice cream shop across the street in the old Rexall bldg. We enjoyed being in the historic downtown of Uvalde.
I loved the ambiance of the Benson House. It is walking distance to shopping and a cute little diner. In the common area there was breakfast and snack items.

We were passing through late and decided to stay at Benson Guest House. It is a very quaint, clean, beautiful room. I did read reviews and the complaints about the water temperature. I love taking baths but was disappointed the water temperature. The owner/manager needs to increase temperature to enjoy a nice hot bath to relax in the beautiful tub.
