Aldea Kuká, Luxury Eco Boutique Hotel

Great position and nice location. We enjoyed the yoga lessons with Diana.

Aldea Kuka is not exactly a 5-star hotel: Noise/Disturbances: We came to relax, but have been subjected to loud construction noise (drilling and hammering) throughout the week. Other guests expressed us similar frustrations. Dining Quality: disappointing, not a 5 star level. Food was not always well cooked, sometimes burnt, sometimes not as it should. Furthermore, the breakfast variety and quality do not reflect a 5-star standard. The fruit often appeared old. Hygiene & Service: Tables in the breakfast and lounge areas are frequently sticky, and unfortunately attract flies. Additionally, the staff, while numerous, seem under-trained and inattentive to basic needs like sunbed assistance or coffee refills. Beach and seaweed: Due to the whether, the beach has been full of seaweeds, and this happens, however, we noticed that the beaches nearby have been properly cleaned, and again that is not expected from a 5 stars hotel. We've raised those comments to the hotel but nobody seemed interested.

A friendly welcome when we arrived and we were given cool flannels and a refreshing drink after our travel. That was really nice. Checked in and wow, the room was stunning! Spacious, clean and well thought out. We loved the natural stone and wood aesthetic. The bed was huge and very comfortable, super soft sheets. Huge shower, basically bigger than our bathroom at home 😅 and the bath was big enough for two. We were given a welcome drink on our first day - a mezcalita and then we had some tacos for lunch, cochinita pibil 🤤 Breakfasts were very pleasant, lovely fresh fruit and juice included. We also had a nice meal in the Japanese restaurant where the fish was super fresh. Staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel is right on the beach so you get stunning views and it's really convenient to be so close. We took the morning yoga class and it was such a zen way to start the day, incense burning and calming music as you moved through various stretches. All in all this hotel was really great.

The comments from other guests about the lack of noise insulation are fair and accurate. You can hear your neighbours very easily, which can be a bit distracting. Our room seemed to struggle with the WiFi connection, but the rest of the hotel it was fine. So not really a huge issue.

L'emplacement, le petit dejeuner et le dejeuner, la plage et les transat, le cours de yoga

Plusieurs mois avant notre arrivée, nous avions expressément demandé une chambre éloignée de la piscine et du restaurant afin d’éviter le bruit et pouvoir se reposer un peu. À notre arrivée, nous nous sommes retrouvés avec une chambre située littéralement au-dessus de la piscine, avec vue directe sur le restaurant. L’insonorisation est extrêmement mauvaise. Quant à l’intimité, elle est inexistante : si vous ouvrez les rideaux pour profiter de la vue, les clients de la piscine et du restaurant voient directement dans votre chambre. Nous n’avons pas ete épargnés par la fete de mariage, les voisins qui parlent fort jusque tard dans la nuit et les travaux du nouveau bar en continue la journee. À la réception, aucune réelle volonté de trouver une solution. Faute rejetée sur le service de reservation ou booking.com. Le niveau de service n’est pas à la hauteur du prix payé. L’accueil est froid, parfois même condescendant. Au petit-déjeuner, arriver quelques minutes avant l’ouverture vous vaut des regards désagréables, comme si votre présence dérangeait. A part Diana la prof de yoga qui elle est adorable. La chambre présentait plusieurs problèmes techniques et les rideaux sont difficiles à manipuler. L’escalier dans la master bedroom est raide et tres dangereux. Malgré le fait qu’elle soit vendu comme “familiale” je la déconseille vivement avec enfant en bas age.

Hôtel plein de charme, avec un personnel très accueillant et disponible. L’équipe du restaurant est très sympathique, en particulier Luís et Israël qui sont très souriant et attentionnés.

Les chambres sont très mal isolés, il est indiqué que nous ne devons pas faire de bruit de 21h00 à 9h00, mais je pense que nous avions malheureusement des animaux mal éduqués au-dessus de nous, et vu le bruit de leurs pas ils devaient faire le poids d’un éléphant. Si je reviens je prendrais une chambre sans voisin au dessus

Las instalaciones externas del hotel son muy buenas y bonitas. Pero no se dejen engañar l!

1) El personal del restaurante, imposible. Siempre de mala gana, nunca sirvieron nada correctamente. El desayuno debía tener 3 pasos y jamás lo servían. Todo muy mal. 2) el dormitorio es imposible. Ya que el piso y la cama crujen y se escucha absolutamente todo de las otras habitaciones. Imposible dormir. 3) en la recepcion en el check out intentaron estafarnos con unas cervezas que decian que teniamos que pagar ya que apagamos el frigobar debido a que el ruido era insoportable en la noche. Y segun ellos la cerveza es perecedera. Conclusion: Pesimo trato.
