USBeautiful small hotel/guesthouse; amazing ocean views; excellent breakfast and dinner. Surprisingly great facilities -- pool, gardens, sitting areas. Large, well-appointed rooms. Hard to imagine anything in an hour's drive or more would be at a similar standard. Solicitous, accommodating staff who helped us book a local excursion and gave us helpful recommendations for other activities. A good base for visiting Bahia de las Aguilas (85 minute drive to the boat point) and even better for Cabo Rojo, Oviedo Lagoon, Arroyo Salado, Los Patos beach where the river flows into the ocean, etc.
No AC; in the higher rooms it was fine but the lower room (studio) was too warm in the summer even with fans. This is one of the poorest regions of the country, the area felt safe but had fairly minimal development (for some travelers this would be a plus.)

DEHervorragende Betreuung durch Eigentümer. Schöne Zimmer, toller Garten, sehr gepflegte Anlage. Das Frühstück war mit viel Kreativität zubereitet.
Wsserdruck in der Dusche war zum Teil nicht ausreichend.
DEDas gesamte Hotel ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Der Eigentümer betreut die Gäste persönlich und kümmert sich um alle Angelegenheiten mit großem Einsatz.. Außergewöhnliches Frühstück, außergewöhnlicher Service. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Die Zimmer sind nicht klimatisiert was an heißen Nächten schwierig sein kann.
