"Short"

Not much, only solar power outside shower, compost toilet

More like camping, no power, it was supposed to be 25 minutes away from Matamata but it was more like an hour, said to the host about this and she said as the birds fly,meaning over the mountains. Not impressed

We didn't even stay here we left I booked when I saw an entire house got here and it was a bed no power outside toilet that smelt bad

"The stay was short 2 night, it was very quite (Nice).Great to hear all the Tui birds."

I did not get the chance to sample the breakfast as I was on the road by 05H30. The Tui birds sing was nice. The room I had was clean and tidy, the bed was ok, I slept well.

The only thing I was disappointed in was no hot water in the shower, I tried 17H30 the first night and at 05H00 in the morning, I tried late in the evening after 21H30 and again at 05H00. On each occasion, it was a military reminder 1 min shower, not something I wanted after 12+ hour day at work.

"Simple comfort in glorious surroundings"

clean and comfortable lodge with private shower and toilet glamping style. Full facilities and glorious location- well placed for exploring the area

WiFi a bit iffy and the drive is approximately half Km of unmade road with a couple of steep parts.
