Hotel Casa Genesis

The bathroom smelled bad, the towel i got was dirty, you could hear the street pretty loudly. The lady at the reception didn’t even take me to the room.

Really nice staff. Amazing WiFi. Good water pressure. Hot water. TV with netflix. A nice short walk into centro with good cafe's and restaurants en route. Quiet. Comfy bed.

Horrible smell in the bathroom from the drains (would have been an 8 otherwise) Pillows.

There is virtually no privacy here, you can't seal the windows shut so you can hear everything going on in the main area, and they can hear you (including in the bathroom). You can hear loud traffic at all times. There's almost no ventilation, and the bathroom smells strongly of ammonia. The locks on the doors are very flimsy and it does not feel safe to leave things in the room while gone (for that matter, it feels like somebody could get in while you're in there as well).

The staff at the hotel Is very, very kind and always ready to help, which helped a lot during our stay. The hotel Is located in a 20 min walk from the center, with all the basic structure you need and everyday they were improving something.

It was noisy during all day due to the windows facing the Avenue with a bus stop. But we prefered that over the other rooms with windows facing de interior/garage. The smell from the drains was strong. As I said, Its a basic structure that provides what you need in a room, and they're improving everyday. There's no smoking area, you must do It on the street.

The hotel is conveniently located but a bad start is that it isn't named as cassa genesis. The room was clean and comfortable . Very basic, but you get what you pay for.

Noisy as the single glazed windows overlook the communal area and car parking. Could be a lot of exhaust fumes in the morning.
