Hotel Casa Barlovento, Parque Tayrona

It’s in an amazing location, the sound of the ocean is incredible, and Tayrona National park entrance only 10 minutes away. The food is good, the rooms very comfortable and the hotel itself beautiful with several lovely pools

There is absolutely no atmosphere. The staff have no friendliness about them. Everything is delivered so slowly and there is no soul to the hotel. It’s all too quite. So you don’t get a sense of warmth and caring

Location and peacefulness

You can't beat the views at Hotel Casa Barlovento. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are yummy with quite a few options. The pool was clean and refreshing!

Potential guests should know that there are about 60 steps that lead up to the hotel. This would not be a good hotel for someone with limited mobility. The staff is very helpful and will carry your bags but the handrail is not super accessible and the steps are of different heights. We had one dinner that we did not like at all. We had to wait almost 2 hours for the food to be served and it was not as described.

Poor room renovations. The architecture of the rooms was poorly done and did not match the rest of the hotel.

Location , close to Tyron park and far enough to be really quiet and relaxing Personnel was really nice and the food was pretty good , the swimming pools are beautiful, Massages were really relaxing too with a perfect atmosphere on the rooftop of the hotel

The place was so nice!! Honestly best place we went, we were lucky enough to be the only one at the hotel which we had all our needs attend. They were so nice! We had all of our dinner on the balcony near the water. It was my boyfriend birthday, I requested decorations and sparkling wine. They were kind enough to more than I expected! They had a private beach that was honestly better than the one at Tayrona park. We wanted to have a surf lesson and they were nice enough to get us in contact with the right people to have a lesson. Anything we ask they were kind and happy to help us achieve it!

The only thing was the sewer smell a bit in the bathroom, but it was not a big deal.

The hotel itself is really nice with great views, staff is friendly and always there for you. I would go back in here with my family. Location is great if you just want to unplugged and relax, food at the restaurant is good.
