I liked everything about thr Devonshire Arns

Bathroom very small

Lovely well looked after property, clean and had a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, evening meal was very delicious, would definitely go back to stay if in the area. Would recommend.

The epitome of a country hotel

Breakfast was good but not keen on ordering what you want the day before

Beautifully clean room with clean bedding and towels etc. Comfortable bed Lovely toiletries provided - essential oil ingredients smelt wonderful Tea/coffee/water in room (although no decaf tea) Lovely bathroom with shower and bath (except no working extractor fan) Nice evening meal with 1x vegetarian option Nicely furnished room space to hang clothes Tv and radio in room

Staff not overly friendly, rather unapproachable (except for a lovely young lady serving breakfast on our second morning) - it was a significant wedding anniversary during our stay and this was not acknowledged in anyway. Had to fill out a breakfast sheet the night before with time of breakfast; and tick boxes of everything you wanted to eat all itemised on this form, I am not keen on choosing what I want to eat the night before and we didn't have to do this in any other place we stayed during our road trip. Toast and vegan sausages overcooked Extractor in bathroom not working so everything was wet as walls running with water, therefore towels did not dry and these were not replaced, toilet paper was damp and everything in the bedroom had a slightly damp smell. Felt it was overpriced in comparison to other places we stayed during our road trip

Quality of all meals was excellent Beautifully appointed and quiet rooms
