SOLUNA BEACH RESORT

The staff are Soluna truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Everyone was so attentive and friendly, like we havent seen in 3 weeks of our vacation. The room we stayed in was seriously huge and beautifully decorated with a nice view towards the pool and ocean. The pool itself is well maintained and big enough to really swim for a while. Would definitely come again and would recommend everyone to visit Soluna for a relaxed start or end to your Sri Lanka vacation!

EVERYTHING ! The room, the resort, the location, the pool & most of all the amazing hospitality of the staff. They treat you like family. The owner Rodney was absolutely incredible and all staff go above and beyond. We have been travelling for 2 weeks in Sri Lanka so far and stayed in many places but this one topped everything.

The cabana is spacious and clean. We were presented with a welcome drink and great hospitality even though we were very late in arriving due to a missed connection. Room was spacious for a family with 2 teenage children.

A bit out of the at but suited us as we were headed north the next day. May not suit those who want access to shops and places to eat.

No restaurant on the site but the very nice guy served us well. The restaurant next door had delicious scrimps.

the property was super dirty, smelled of mouldy, there were no towels ( we had to ask) there was no running water in any of the rooms! Overall very very poor

We had a very pleasant stay at Soluna Beach Resort. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying our time there. We loved lazying in the pool to recharge our batteries for a few days before flying back home. Good option to end a tour of Srilanka.

There were a few hiccups, mainly due to force majeure, but overall they were handled smoothly. Not many amenities nearby

Very nice and quiet spot at the clean, beautiful shore. Very nice garden with large pool. We enjoyed watching the fishermen at work all day long. Excellent food and very nice staff.

Our room was on the ground floor with very large windows. So, everybody could look into it and one had to close all curtains whenever in the room.

The location was fantastic right on the beach which is sandy and ok for swimming but is really the domain of the fishing community who work tirelessly to bring in their haul each day. Really interesting to watch them and admire their catch. The beach is totally undeveloped for tourists but the hotel pool is great and we were well looked after. Lovely breakfasts and fresh fish evening meals. This hotel is better than the descriptions we have seen and excellent value for money.

As long as you want peace and quiet this place is great. There isn’t much going on in the vicinity!
