I like staying at places that start your day off right with a proper delicious breakfast overlooking the garden and mountains. Cape Dutch did not disappoint. The grounds are beautiful and we also used the pool for a bit. While your own room does not have a mini fridge, you can use the communal fridge to keep things. The manager Corna was lovely and very responsive. She would come by during breakfast to say hello and check everything was alright.

This is not a negative but more like a heads up when booking the loft space. It was our first time staying on a farm estate, so it obviously does not come with modern facilities like an elevator. We didn’t realize or think about that when booking and we had our large suitcases with us. Thankfully my husband got them up. Also, the room only had a bath, no shower. Again not a negative, more so a heads up for anyone particular.
