The host of the property was very friendly, and chatty from the moment we arrived, making us feel welcome in her exceptional home - almost like we were part of the family. The accommodation was immaculate, with plenty of hot water on-tap, with the added luxury of a bath. We both slept sound in a very comfortable bed. The house is in a very quiet, modern development. When she saw that we were musicians, the host took a keen interest in where we were going to be performing.

The room was very clean, and well organized, the bed was really comfy, there was a beautiful ' Welcome' sign at the door of our room, which was a nice touch. The owners were waiting for us although we arrived later than we anticipated, at night, and the booking was done by us last minute, the shower was exceptional and the bathroom was really spacious. Everything was perfect, only 4 minutes drive to get a delicious kebab and beautiful views of Portstewart 😊

It was clean

It was not central to anywhere (no helpful maps to get you to the nearest place to eat); breakfast was not included despite it being listed as Bed & Breakfast on every website (including their own), so very pricey for what was just a room in a shared home. The kettle was also placed under the bedside table (the only plug socket), but it didn't seem safe to us. When we gave constructive feedback the next day, the owners accepted the descriptions on the internet were incorrect, got a little defensive, and at one point (and over the phone), got a little aggressive. We sensed this and so calmly ended the conversation.
