Clonandra Cottages

We loved how close the home are to the lake, my husbandand kids very much enjoyed fishing. Ingor, the host was incredibly helpful with advice about the local area and anything we needed for our stay. Being pet friendly was an added bonus as our dog Eddie had a great time and we didn't have the guilt of having to leave him at home.

We unfortunately didn't have a chance to use the sauna /jacuzzi as I neglected to book I'm advance but that was my own doing. Otherwise we had a brilliant time.

Amazing location, very helpful hosts. We had problems with heating (irish summers..) the first night, owners were very helpful trying fix the problem, provided us with extra blankets and electric heater in a mean time. Place was fairly clean and spacious, plenty of storage. Kitchen fully equiped with everything necessary.

We were under the impression that there is going to be a separate bedroom, but it was all in one kind of cottage (dining/sitting/ bedroom in one space). Great if you are traveling with group or friends, not so much if traveling with young kids as once they are asleep there is no other room to go to. Would be great if there was a guest book with instructions how to operate apliances, telling about local attractions and so on. Furniture a little outdated.
