De service was uitstekend en de hygiëne was nog beter dan ik had verwacht. Na verschillende verblijven in de Filipijnen te hebben gezien die goed scoorde op hygiëne, begreep ik dat de lat niet hoog lag, maar dit verblijf laat absoluut zien dat het wél kan.

Elke nacht werden we wel een keer wakker omdat de honden rondom het verblijf te keer gingen, of ze begonnen massaal in koor te huilen of te vechten. Misschien buiten macht van het hotel en het ging gelukkig nooit super lang door, maar dat is het enige wat misschien verholpen kan worden.

It was very clean and the staff, especially the restaurant staff were wonderful. The food was very good and the staff was always attentive. The very quiet AC in the room was a big plus and if you’re comfortable with a scooter, the busy general Luna center ist only a 10 min ride away. Otherwise there’s plenty of tricycles available as well. We also really enjoyed the small white sand beach across the resort.

Unfortunately the resort did not monitor guests coming to use the pool. There were multiple days on which big groups of people, not staying at the resort, occupied all the sunbeds and were being quite loud. Some nights they „pregamed“ on the outside chairs from the restaurant until midnight. I’d would’ve improved our stay if there would have been 24/7 security monitoring who comes in and out. Also some sun umbrellas would’ve been great at the pool, to relax in the shade.

Amazing place. The room was spacious. Large outdoor pool, with a very nice cafe/restaurant.

The only potential issue is that it’s not in General Luna. Not ideal if you’re renting a bike, as the road is dark. No other issues.

The Ferra resort is perfectly located far enough away from the craziness of general Luna. The beach in front is incredibly beautiful and we took morning walks every day we were there and for the most part had the beach all to ourselves except for the fisherman. The ground surrounding the resort are beautifully manicured the staff was exceptionally helpful with everything we needed from renting mopeds to arranging a ride to Pacifiao. For anyone coming to Siargao, the Ferra resort comes with my highest recommendations, you will love it here.

The restaurant at the resort has recently opened and only serves breakfast and they are working on a lunch and dinner menu. The food at breakfast was exceptional.
