The bed had very noisy springs - not for a honeymoon! Continental breakfast a bit limited - good quality crumpets and bread, but not yoghurts, cheese fruit (apart from banana)

Staff is terrific. Property under renovation so lots of scaffolding and trades men,.. should be great by May 2026. This is a social enterprise schem, I believe, so support it as much as possible....good vibes...nice communal areas to hang out :)

My room was in the basement, so poor light and a bit cool. Not a problem as regards my stay, but could be for others

The room was pleasant enough. The self check in was straight forward enough too although it did feel a tad impersonal. It was ok as it was just for the one night stay that we were staying at the property.

Sadly this property is let down by the lack of close by street parking. We did have a permit during our stay but with luggage to carry and a pet and a pram we both found this rather difficult especially as there was nowhere close by available to park. Then with a flight of stairs to navigate into the property and then downstairs another flight to our room was quite stressful to say the least. The car park opposite we noted would incur an additional £10 for an overnight stay ☹️ Disappointing breakfast options. Sour milk in the fridge and the mouth of the milk jug was unclean! Unable to even open the marmite Jar that had previously been opened and sadly the lady in the kitchen I saw earlier re the milk issue was nowhere to be found to assist. The basement room was very hot. Portable Air con unit was plugged in for the duration of our overnight stay.

Self service Breakfast Pictures showed cooked breakfast but it was only cheap toast and plastic containers with cereal and lots of stickers no humans to ask
