The host & her daughter were so funny and exceptionally welcoming! They made sure everything was perfect for our stay and were super helpful even with the language barrier. They were able to provide us 2 scooter rentals (koh yao yai was the only place in Thailand that I drove my own scooter it was very calm and remote). They brought us water and home made breakfast (the fried dough was amazing!) They were able to provide us a laundry service and our clothes came back very clean. I highly recommend staying at Relaxing House Koh Yao Yai and booking a Hong Island Boat Tour through the owner, it was our favorite boat tour that we did on our two months traveling throughout Thailand. The beaches were beautiful. It's a little away from the main tourist area which we found nice, a short 15 minute scooter ride if we wanted to get over to the resorts/ shopping. The bungalow was clean and we loved the owner's kitty's coconut would have my morning coffee with me while I worked remotely.

The Wi-fi is a little un-reliable. It worked well for my remote work but my boyfriend is a video editor and works with larger files so we would go to one of the resorts sometimes for him to upload. besides that our stay was perfect!

This family is very helpful and friendly ❤️ they organised for us free pick up from the pier and also booked the best possible transfer to our next destination. They were bringing to us delicious breakfast every Morning. I hope to come back there one day to spend time in this beautiful place once again.

The breakfast was a nice surprise! All the days it was a little different, I love it.

The beds are more in the hard side (common issue in Thailand)

There wasn’t a lot I didn’t like about this beautiful off beaten place it’s owned by a small family mom made you breakfast everyday brings it to your door, it’s so quiet and fresh water was clean and we got hot water, there’s 2 7/11 in Koh Yao yai the restaurants there are very good you will need a bike on this island

Bed a little hard

Amazing surroundings, very calmed space, convenient location (in the middle of the island, equal distance to both extremes). Only 15min ride to Lo Paret Beach, one of the best in the island. Hosts are incredibly sweet and welcoming, always willing to help and brought a different breakfast every day. I spent my birthday here and they surprised me with cake and sang to me :) we felt right at home.

None, it was perfect

It was honestly amazing! We arrived they was so welcoming and sweet, it was a little family business and the young woman on the front didn’t know much English but was really attentive and sweet. Brought us breakfast every morning and water. The room was clean and fresh! It was really good value for money. The best we have had so far on our trip! Didn’t wanna leave. Thank you
