Coral View Beach Resort

The (incredible) snorkeling here made up for other very minor issues. I don’t think you can go to this island and expect the Ritz. But there were a few things I had really wished were different. The room smelled (a little like cat urine… but just faintly and you got used to the smell after being in the room for a while… I noticed the smell… my husband didn’t), but the shower was hot and powerful. The sink just didn’t look clean, although it probably was. Outside our room smelled off (for lack of a better way of describing it). The location was pretty terrific. Taking the ferry to Neptunes was super easy as the hotel was right near the dock for that. And service was incredible! Overall I’d say book this place. Just don’t expect too much.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Friendly staff, great scenic view, stunning pool and the cool breeze just hits you differently there.

Amazing view of sunset, great food and snorkeling. Hotel is undergoing renovations so it is a work in progress. It’s away from all the hustle and bustle of main Utila so quiet and laid back. Free breakfast is also good.

Would definitely stay here again! Staff was friendly, breakfast was wonderful, rooms were quiet and clean. Thank you for such a great stay!
