경주의 느낌을 갖고자 숙소도 한옥으로 정했는데 역시 한옥의 불편함은 어쩔수가 없습니다. 방음, 사생활 보호 등은 크게 기대하지 마시고요, 그나마 마루 딸린 방은 겨울 제외하면 운치있어 좋겠네요. 주차구역은 충분치 않아 복불복인듯 싶고 와이파이 없습니다. 큰 기대없이 한국인이라면 가볍게 한옥 느낌 받고 오는 정도로만 만족하세요.

Très bel hôtel, bon emplacement

Lovely place.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I have a couple of reasons for this one. I think my criticism are things that would be very easy to fix for this hotel. My biggest problem with our room was the bed. We had a king bed and it was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever encountered. The “mattress” is just a box spring. It felt as though you were sleeping in the hard ground. Overall, the room was clean, well maintained and the location was walkable to restaurants and some of the attractions. They have to fix the bed situation. The other hiccup was that our room had no bath towels to use after a shower. I got in touch with the hotel to request some and I was told that having bath towels was a special request and I had not included this in my reservation. I have never heard about this before, to me, towels are a basic amenity. I was very annoyed that the hotel didn’t just admit their mistake and instead argued with me making it seem like I was the unreasonable one. The next day they brought us a couple of towels but this exchange left a bad taste in my mouth.

Wundervolle kleine Hanok Unterkunft im Herzen von Gyeongju. Fußläufig sind die Gräber (Tomb Komplex) super easy erlaufbar. Wenn man sich mit der Naver Map App navigiert, kann man auch umliegende Sehenswürdigkeiten wie den Bulguksa Tempel super und günstig mit den öffentlichen Bussen erreichen. Wir hatten aufgrund der Verfügbarkeit das kleinste Zimmer (Ondol D). Es war sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet und wirkte gepflegt und hochwertig. Das Zimmer selbst ist ca. 3x3m groß, das Bad 1,5x1,5m. Klein, hat aber ausgereicht. Man schläft auf dem Boden auf ca 10cm hohen Matratzen, die durchaus weich und angenehm sind! Wir hatten einen kühlen Tag dabei. Es wurde das Ondol, also die traditionelle Bodenheizung, aktiviert und es war schön warm. Zugang zur Unterkunft hat man per digitalem Zahlenschloss. Das Zimmer selbst ist nicht verschlossen. Ein Kritikpunkt ist vielleicht, dass niemand so wirklich mit uns kommunizierte. Die Putzfrauen hat es per Übersetzer versucht und die Inhaberin (?) schien auch sehr desinteressiert an den Gästen. Egal, die Unterkunft selbst war eine super schöne Erfahrung!
