Aloha Beachfront Port Fairy

Terrific location opposite one of the best beaches in Victoria. Close to surf club with great food and coffee. Great views from windows upstairs and functional balconies front and rear to enjoy meals , views or quiet reading. Well laid out house for 4-6 people Internet was excellent as was Fox TV and access to streaming . Kitchen very well stocked with utensils and knives that worked. Aircon excellent for upstairs all kitchenware, and whitegoods incl laundry were good

Unfortunately it wasn't advertised that immediately opposite was a worksite (renewing council facilities until end May 2025)there were tradies, cement truck, tiles and wood saws and drills going from 8 am to 4.30 on 3 of the days and 4 mornings. not so much that the beautiful seaview was diminished, but rather being woken by the noise which persisted in various forms and levels! I feel this was a misrepresentation somewhat. Also, some things need attention: sliding fly door upstairs banged forwards and back incessantly in the wind (needed to jam a block between the 2 doors to stop the racket. Some windows in toilets , for example , were not openable Clock wasn't working, but told by owner/manager that batteries in the draw. Only problem is a ladder is required to reach the clock. these things should be checked by the agent/owner or their staff. Aircon lacking downstairs

Great location and views. Very modern.

The shower in the main bedroom is over a spa bath and far too difficult and unsafe to get in and out of.

Loved everything about Aloha Port Fairy. The location is A1. We spent hours every day just watching the ocean. The house itself is very well designed - bedrooms downstairs and living upstairs. The beds were probably the most comfortable we have ever slept on. Other good things to note - there are three toilets - one upstairs and two downstairs. Ample kitchenware/ dinnerware/utensils/saucepans etc. Air conditioning upstairs is excellent (we did not use heater as it was summer but that looked lovely). Short stroll to a fantastic fish and chip shop one way and a cafe the other way. Cannot wait to stay here again one day. It really is something special.

The view

The showers weren’t great. The water pressure was horrible. The house was certainly not cleaned prior to us checking in as there were nail clippings all over the floor in the family room and the glass ware still had wine in them. The garage was also available.

It is a lovely, warm and cosy place to stay. The ocean views from the living room are just stunning, I could have just sat there all day.

Unfortunately, the spa bath wasn't working.

Location was amazing. So warm and comfy while watching the churning ocean.
