The Burke Manor Inn was a great place to stay, my daughter and I loved it. We had dinner there one night, it was delicious. The breakfast was equally delicious

The Burke Manor Inn is an absolute treasure. Beyond the warm staff, beautifully maintained historic estate, and delicious breakfast, there is the attached Saint Jacques restaurant which is fantastic for an authentic and unforgettable French experience. We also went to the Cooking Class on a whim and had an amazing time seeing a true master chef demonstrate preparing an assortment of dishes that we were able to sample. I cannot overstate how delicious the food is. My wife and I are already planning our next stay and highly recommend the Burke Manor Inn.

I travel a lot. Sometimes, for convenience, I stay at chain hotels, but when time and circumstances allow I stay at non-traditional places and have had some excellent experiences. Burke Manor is now one of three such non-traditional places at the top of my "favorites" list. I stayed for two nights while attending a college baseball series at nearby (5 minutes tops) Elon University. I stayed in the smallest room (#205), but it was absolutely comfortable, clean, and relaxing. The hosts, Lori and Lil, are magnificent and took care of every need. Breakfasts were exquisite - and why not? Lil is a supreme chef! Time did not allow me the opportunity to have a lunch or dinner at the on-property restaurant, but lots of lucky people took advantage of Lil's skills each day I was there. The 3.5 acre grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and on the day I left I saw that they had set up for a wedding later that day; smart couple to choose Burke Manor. Lori and Lil also provide an extensive booklet describing area attractions and opportunities, which directed me to a beautiful nearby golf course and some local antique shops. Upon check-in, Lori said there's a train that goes by every now and then and offered ear plugs. I took a pass; although I noticed the train a few times, it was no big deal. Finally, what I paid for my two nights was about the same as I've paid for chain establishments. If you're in the area and looking to relax and enjoy genuine hospitality, you'd be crazy not to stay here!

Loved staying here. We were guests of a wedding the night we stayed and it was so convenient to come back from the wedding and to walk back to our room. The staff were very friendly and pleasant and the food was amazing.

Beautiful place. Charming , comfortable and clean. The staff are very accommodating to our very late check in . The room was ready when we arrived. We love the special treat ( cookies and chocolates) they had there fir us. That was sweet. Bedroom And bathroom are stations. We love it’s old southern charm but with convenient facilities.

We had an awesome stay! Best service throughout the whole stay. Delicious dinner. Great breakfast. Cosy and personal decorated room. We will be back for sure! Thanks for making our Anniversary so special!

This was a traditional southern feeling bed and breakfast run by a husband and wife, the husband just so happens to be a fantastic French chef! The food was amazing and the Rooms were all so cute and comfortable. Great for a quiet getaway or to have an event like a shower or wedding. Wonderful property and the staff was so nice.
