Lantern Cottage

Lantern Cottage was exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. The layout and facilities had been very well thought out. The shared courtyard was lovely to sit out in the sun. We were able to store our bikes there too, which we rode on the nearby Camel trail. It was peaceful even though we were almost in the centre of Padstow. There were numerous bars and restaurants nearby all serving delicious food. There is also a Spar shop 1minute walk away handy for last minute supplies. The only downside is that parking is not available at the property. However it is a pleasant (but hilly!) 5minute walk to the public carpark, which is not excessively priced for long stay.

Very well designed and decorated little cottage in a very central location. Quiet and cosy cottage.

access to the little garden would be lovely. The speaking front door was slightly annoying after a while but you get used to it!

This is a lovely old cottage that has been tastefully restored. The location was amazing in the heart of the village. We would highly recommend to anyone.

4pm is a very late check in so we had to wait around, but then found in the house manual that check in was 3pm? A bit of confusion between owner and managing agent. Otherwise a great stay.

Breakfast was not on offer so not applicable

No dishes for casseroles to use in the oven so did this on frying pan Otherwise very well equipped

Perfect location

Too many codes to access the cottage and the electronic voice on door entry is annoying Downstairs loo was compact which is understandable but for a near 6 ft chap the toilet is not best situated

A superbly present and located property. Excellent shower, very comfortable, right in the heart of Padstow.

I stayed here with my friend. It was cozy, incredibly clean, and beautifully decorated! In an absolutely perfect location. I have already recommended Lantern Cottage to friends. Loved it!!
