The hospitality of Siggi was the best!! We felt very well taken cared of, particularly because we arrived later than we anticipated at the house and Siggi’s communication was excellent. After a delicious breakfast, Siggi engaged us in conversation and I really appreciated the opportunity to talk at length with an Icelander.

Indehaveren meget venlig og oplysende. Have tid tal at fortælle om egnen og sit liv som bonde i dalen.

Der Farmers ist sehr freundlich und nett

Está ubicada en un valle muy bonito y es perfecto para estar tranquilo y desconectar. Todo muy limpio y ordenado. El desayuno estaba muy rico y con productos autóctonos. El dueño es muy amable y atento. Sin duda repetiremos si volvemos de viaje a Islandia

Hébergement très propre et confortable. L'hôte qui nous a accueillies était très sympathique et chaleureux. Il y a également des articles en laine (pulls, bonnets, gants...) à vendre à des prix bien plus abordable que n'importe où ailleurs en Islande. Chambres spacieuses et confortables, coin avec des fauteuils et une table, salle de bain privative très propre et moderne.

Siggi ist ein hervorragender und freundlicher Gastgeber. Er serviert ein tolles Frühstücksbüffet und beantwortet gerne Fragen zu Island und dem Leben auf der Insel. Die Unterkunft liegt etwa 10 km abseits der Ringstraße und ist sehr ruhig! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Struttura tranquilla e confortevole in una zona molto isolata. La camera era spaziosa e pulita. Siggi è un proprietario gentile e premusoroso, la colazione che ci ha fatto trovare ottima e varia. Consiglio di arrivare prima del tramonto sia per ammirarlo da qua che per evitare di percorrere i 10 km di strada dissestata con il buio (occhio all'auto). Considerate che è molto isolata organizzatevi bene con tutto ciò che vi occorre.

This place is a little off the beaten path but it was absolutely lovely. It was quiet, quaint, and gave you a real taste of Eastern Iceland. Siggy greeted us with a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. He was attentive and quick to respond to messages on our way in. We woke up to a wonderful breakfast spread and shared in beautiful conversation over coffee. I wish we could’ve stayed here longer!!!
