GBOur stay in Oyo 89896 Sedili Inn Resort was incredibly pleasant following the long, exhausting day it took us to get there with my wife and two young children. We traveled from East Coast Singapore to Woodlands Checkpoint, grabbing a bus across the bridge from the checkpoint, reaching a busy Johor Baru Central which all required a lot of baggage lugging as it’s a bit of a walk from the bus to the shopping mall/taxi ranks. We grabbed a cab to get to Hawk rent-a-car in Johor Tower next to Hilton DoubleTree, and then drove from JB to the Sedili Inn through mostly quiet countryside, arriving around 10 pm at night. Even though we input the address into Waze, it told us we had “arrived at our destination” about 500 metres away on the main road, and in the dark we had no way of finding the Inn, which was actually 300m further up the road down a left turn towards the beach. We found a side road with a small warung and the owner, Sammy, kindly led us to the Inn on his motorbike. We only booked the venue an hour prior and Hamid met us and helped us initially to a smaller room (as the booking had not yet arrived on their computer) but he quickly came and moved us after he checked. Our standalone chalet, which was incredibly affordable, was a basic room with AC and shower, and was quite spacious for the 4 of us. Water was warm and the aircon worked fine. There was a hot and cold water machine in a central location if you wanted to make your own coffee. We slept well and in the morning had breakfast (price not included) in the front reception area which was a simple cooked breakfast but nicely done. The beach fronts on to the property, so the next joyous thing was wandering down with the kids for a swim. The beach is quite pleasant, and the sea is warm and calm, but it does have a bit of tidal detritus washed up.
Only minor issues with furnishings. Shower could have a shelf for stuff. TV needs dorting. Basically well worth the price.

No real dislikes, maybe a furniture tidy up, somewhere to stand items in the bathroom etc
