Facilities were excellent in a remote relaxing location

Dave & Karen were great hosts. It was very easy to get in touch with them and responded promptly to any queries. The house was about a 10-minute drive away from westport town, which was perfect for us. The house itself was lovely & on beautiful grounds. The house was very homely, and you can see how much pride they take in the house with all the lovely decor. They even had a map inside the house of all the local attractions, which was very helpful. If I was going back to westport, I wouldn't hesitate to book their home again.

Lots of careful thought and loving care has gone into this home. Everything we needed was there. Lovely grounds to walk. My daughters loved the swing!

Beautiful country cottage. Peaceful quiet area

Loved the cottage and hosts were very helpful.

Location was good

Email providing key box code and eircode was not sent (property owner said it had been sent 21st march but we didn’t receive it until 28th march - could be a legitimate mistake) Fridge could have been a lot cleaner. Some of the towels were damp. Fire guard in the sitting room was more for child protection and gaps in mesh were too large to prevent a spark from fire coming out. As a result we didn’t light fire and as a result room was very cold. Also a large item of furniture was in front of radiator in kitchen area which seem to prevent heat circulating around the room. It was very disappointing that there were no irish channels. To be fair, this property has a lot of potential and most of the problems we encountered can probably be easily addressed.
